Our speaker for October is Kikelomo Woleosho.
Kikelomo Woleosho is a passionate Photopreneur as she likes to be called. She specializes in children, maternity and family photography. She teaches photography and entrepreneurship within and outside Lagos. As a fantastic photography teacher she has written articles for various magazines.
She is a graduate of Chemistry education from the Lagos state university (LASU), an alumna of Elophotos academy, Daystar business academy, Daystar leadership academy, Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) , a recipient of the World Bank scholarship for women in business at the Pan-Atlantic University and a recipient of the Cherie Blair foundation Road to Business Growth for women.
Kikelomo runs successfully a photography company. ‘Red19photography’ a company that majors in children, maternity and family photography with the vision of promoting “Familybond”. Kikelomo has done several personal exhibitions and has been part of various group photography exhibitions amongst which is the She-Photographers exhibition on women (2011) and on cancer (2014) at Goethe institute, Lagos.
She is the founder of EDITbyRED19, an empowerment program for youth and girls in Nigeria. She is also a part of NiPHEC (Nigeria Photography Expo and Conference) where she teaches photography related topics.
She is a strong advocate of Christ and His values, empowering youths and protecting children especially the girl child. Due to her first hand experience as a survivor of child sexual abuse, she speaks on relating topics in churches, conferences, camp meetings, etc. and recently held the first ever SEXDUCATE EVENT, a sexual education platform in partnership with the US Consulate in Nigeria for teachers, school owners, young professionals who work with children and youth, leaders who have a large influence over youths
She believes that together we can change our community a person at a time.
